Pumpkin Seed Oil is pressed from the seeds of the Cucurbita Pepo plant. This soap making oil is highly valued for its skin healing properties.

Pumpkin Seed Oil Properties

  • Rich in anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids as well as high levels of Vitamins A, C & E. 
Pumpkin Seeds
  • This oils color can range from a yellow to deep green with red hints and has a mild nut odour. 

  • Has a shelf life of up to 2 years if stored in a cool, dry, dark location.  Refrigerate upon opening.
  • Good for all skin types and absorbs into the skin well. 
  • Said to help repair dry, cracked, damaged skin. 
  • You do not need a lot of this oil in your recipes, a little goes a long way. Consider adding 10% - 20% with your other oils at the start of the soap making process.
